The women's track and field team represented the college well over the weekend at Alfred State College in New York at the 2012 Outdoor Track and Field National Cahmpionships.

Freshman, Coneisha Smith (also on Women's Basketball Team), finished first in the 400m (58.21) and second in the 200m (25.22), earning her All-American honors in both events.  Smith also finished third in the high jump (1.55m). The women's 4x400m relay team finished second (4:14.26), 4x100m relay (51.27) and 4x800 relay (10:56.25) team finished in third place. The team finished overall in 6th place out of 21 teams that participated.  These ladies did an outstanding job of representing our college.  Congratulations Lady Owls!!!!
