The Prince George's Community College Athletic department held their ninth annual soccer alumni game on Saturday, October 2nd on the college's new Bermuda Soccer field.
Forty-two alumni players attended, along with former coaches, Bernie Smolen, Darius Qualls and Richard Todaro. Over thirty years of soccer tradition were represented. Eleven of the schools forty-eight All Americans were present to play on the new Bermuda field under lights. Teams were divided up based on the last y

ear they played on the college's team.
The Even year team took the early lead and was up 2-0 going into the half. After half time the new lights came on the field and so did the Odd year team. Taking total control of the game, the Odd's dominated the Even's, shutting down their offense and breaking through to score four unanswered goals.
Everyone had a lot of fun and it was great to see all the former players and coaches. After the game a cookout was hosted by former player/coaches, Rocco Belmonte and Richard Todaro. The athletic department would like to thank all the alumni who attended.
A special thanks to the family of Rocco Belmonte and Richard Todaro for their generous contribution of hosting the after game cookout. All the food was awesome! Your continued support of the athletic department is greatly appreciated! We couldn't have done this without you...
Thank you!
