Athletic Training

We would like to welcome you to Prince George's Community College. We would like to offer our assistance to help with the care of your athletes to help prevent injuries and facilitate the athletes' recovery when incidences do occur. The head athletic trainer will be available during the athletic event to attend to all injuries that may occur and for pre and post event treatments as needed. If you have athletes who need special care please have them bring written instructions on the proper treatment. The training room for games is located in Novak Field House just inside the rear door closest to the athletic fields, next to the concessions stand and will be open at least one hour prior to all events and one half hour after all events.

Information For Incoming Athletes

  • Prince George's Community College does not provide medical/health coverage for injuries that may be sustained during participation in the Athletic Programs; therefore, Prince George's Community College asks that each participant is covered by either a personal or family health insurance plan. Also each participant must be covered by an insurance plan to participate in Prince George's Community College Athletics.
  • To participate in Prince George's Community College Athletics; student athletes need to bring in a printed copy of their schedule and a pre-participation physical filled out by a physician and signed by the student athlete. The physical form should be filled out on or after July 1st of the summer prior to participation year and is only good for one year. The pre-participation physical form can be found below.
  • Concusssions have become a major problem with many different athletics programs at all levels. We have provided a list of symptoms and information regarding concussions here.
