The Men's basketball team at Prince George's Community College is currently ranked 4^th in the MD JUCO conference and have won their 11^th consecutive game against Anne Arundel Community College. This game was close the entire game, with the Owls never leading by more than 8 points and Anne Arundel never leading be more than 4 points. The final score was 72-64 in favor of the Owls.

The Prince Georges Community College Men's basketball team has defeated the Montgomery College Raptors for their 9^th consecutive win 82-62, they have moved up in the conference standings from 5^th to 4^th place.

As the 5^th team in the MD JUCO standings, the Men's Basketball team at Prince Georges Community College has fought for their 13^th victory against St. Marys JV team with a final score of 88-71.

The team started off strong with a 9-1 score early, forcing St. Marys to call a time-out 2 and a half minutes into the game.

Annapolis - The Prince George's Community College Men's Basketball Team knew that the season opener was going to be a challenge and were very prepared to hold off a hot shooting Navy JV team. Although this is a Junior Varsity team, their top 3 players are members of the Navy Midshipmen Division 1 varsity team. PGCC started out slow and got down 7-0 in the first 5 minutes of the contest. After a timeout, they came out with a renewed energy and were able to force the Midshipmen into a lot of turnovers. PGCC converted several steals into layups and were able to secure a 45-35 halftime lead.

Owls' victory advances team to final 11 in NJCAA

LARGO, Md.—The Prince George's Community College (PGCC) men's basketball team won the NJCAA DIII Men's Basketball Region XX Championship on March 3 by defeating Anne Arundel Community College, 77-76. David Golladay was named to the All-Tournament team and Josiah Woodruff received MVP honors at the tournament. PGCC is one of only 11 teams still playing in NJCAA Division III men's basketball.

Both Owl Basketball Teams came out on Valentine's Day and made statements to their opponents, earning victories in the first round of the MD JUCO Basketball Tournament. The Lady Owls (#5 seed) took on the #12 seeded Garrett Lady Lakers and walked away with a 72-53 victory. The men (#6 seed) followed suit and coasted to a 78-47 vicotry over #11 seeded CCBC Essex Knights.

The Lady Owls Basketball Team won their first game of the Owl Invitational Tournament on Saturday with a hard fought 66-60 victory over Lenoir Community College. Center, JoJoe Briscoe (Friendly) led the way for Prince George's with a season high 19pts and 12 rebounds followed by Danielle Durant (Crossland) and Marissa Akins (Buena Vista) who added 14pts each toward the winning effort.
